Work with adults
How I work
I aim to help to resolve current problems and develop deeper self-acceptance. In order to be helped, I believe people need to feel safe, accepted, facilitated and not judged, but we also all need to be challenged at times. Therapy is a serious matter and can stir up painful feelings, can take us to places we are fearful of, but it can also be an enjoyable and creative process.
The therapy I offer will be tailored differently for each client. I tend to see people for a minimum of once a week and at the same time/s, and people can be seen for either short or longer periods, depending on what we both feel is needed. The work is always confidential, respectful and facilitative, while occasionally challenging.
I am happy to work with a range of issues, for example:
- Depression
- Stress and anxiety
- Sexual issues
- Relationships
- Lack of meaning
- Attachment issues
- Struggles with creativity
- Lack of confidence
- Feeling out of control
- Trauma and abuse
I often work with people who are at important cross-roads, such as in mid-life or following a bereavement or wanting a career change, as well as with artists and performers.
